Semarang Becomes Java's Trucking Hub RPX Group, integrated delivery and logistics provider, sets out to support regional government's plan to step up furniture and garment exports in Central Java and Yogyakarta for economic acceleration, by launching a new office on Jl. R.E. Martadinata 168/Bypass, Semarang, Central Java, which serves as a trucking hub for the Java region.
Semarang is chosen as a Trucking Hub location on account of its strategic location, which is only five minutes from Ahmad Yani airport and fifteen minutes from Tanjung Perak harbor. Semarang also offers a discrete advantage as a Trucking Hub as it lies in the center of Java, which is the main track for two major industrial cities, viz. Jakarta and Surabaya. In addition, Semarang is also supported by neighboring industrial cities including Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, Pekalogan, Solo, Kudus and Jepara.
